I went to the same high school as Michael J. Fox. In fact, we have a big theatre in the school in his name. My high school English teacher was also his teacher, and they remained good friends. So whenever Michael was in town, he would usually stop by the school to meet with him.
VANCOUVER - Michael J. Fox, a TV actor turned Parkinson’s advocate, will be honoured next month by B.C.’s largest university.
The University of B.C., in Vancouver, announced Friday it will grant the Canadian native an honourary degree during May’s spring convocation.
